Synopsis
The School of the Magical Animals (2021) is a German-Austrian family fantasy you can watch online on iFILM. Ida arrives at a new school feeling like an outsider — the other kids are prickly, and making friends just isn't happening.
Things shift when a mysterious new teacher, Miss Cornfield, arrives, and with her comes a secret pet shop where a few lucky children receive a magical talking animal. Ida is paired with a sly fox, while her classmate Benny gets a slow-moving tortoise. The animals turn into real best friends, on one condition: no grown-up can ever learn that they can speak. Live actors share the screen with animated creatures throughout.
