Synopsis
The Uncanny Counter (2020), Season 1 is a Korean action-mystery you can watch online on iFILM — sixteen episodes built around a noodle shop that hides a team of demon hunters.
So Mun is a high schooler who walks with a limp after the crash that killed his parents. On his birthday a blast of light rewrites his body, and the noodle shop crew lets him in on the secret: they are Counters, fighters who track evil spirits feeding on the living. Mun trains, loses his temper, and learns the cost of both. The trail leads to a crooked politician, Shin Myeong-hwi, and a possessed killer named Cheong-sin whose past is tangled up with the death of Mun's own family.
