Synopsis
The Curse of Oak Island Season 4 — 16 episodes, watch online on iFILM. The largest season of the show by far: in 2016 Rick and Marty Lagina commit to a full mechanical excavation of the Money Pit rather than relying on drill cores and cameras.
The island keeps producing new angles. The swamp yields evidence of what may be an ancient shipwreck buried in the mud. A mysterious hatch suggests underground tunnels no map accounts for. Rick travels to the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and finds that the future president was fixated on Oak Island as early as 1909. An 18th-century freed slave named Samuel Ball turns out to be tied to the island's history in a way that reorders earlier assumptions. By episode fifteen, the team claims it has made the single most consequential find in over two centuries of searching.
