From there it delivers exactly what a good sitcom promises: sharp kitchen-counter banter, awkward dates, ongoing battles to raise sarcastic Lennox and head-in-the-clouds Ryder, and a slow-warming spark between two adults who'd rather die than admit it. Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence carry the leads.

Hart and Lawrence have been familiar faces since the '90s, and that easy rapport is what holds the whole thing together: four seasons running on light chemistry and quick dialogue rather than heavy drama.
