Synopsis
Hatchet II (2010) is Adam Green's slasher sequel you can watch online on iFILM, picking up the second Marybeth crawls out of the Louisiana swamp. This time she comes back with a hunting party — men paid to go in and put down Victor Crowley for good.
Kane Hodder returns under the hatchet-man makeup, and the kills here are bigger and nastier than anything in the first film. Tony Todd appears as Reverend Zombie, the thread connecting the two movies together, and Danielle Harris carries the whole thing on sheer force of nerve. Marybeth learns her family's history with Crowley runs deeper than she knew, which turns the revenge mission into something more complicated.
Adam Green got the film into US wide release uncut with an NC-17 rating — a rare move that the studio quickly reversed, but the notoriety stuck.
