Dogman

Dogman (2018) is an Italian-French crime drama from director Matteo Garrone that you can watch online on iFILM. Marcello runs a small dog-grooming shop on the fringes of a run-down coastal town — gentle with the animals, patient with everyone, and inexplicably tolerant of Simone, the local ex-boxer who bullies the entire neighborhood into submission.

What starts as an uncomfortable friendship slowly reveals itself as something closer to servitude. Marcello drives Simone, covers for him, takes the blame — not out of fear exactly, but from a lifetime of learned smallness. His daughter is the one thing that makes him picture a different kind of life. Then Simone crosses a line that can't be uncrossed. Marcello Fonte took the Best Actor prize at Cannes for this performance.
