Synopsis
Earth and Blood (La Terre et le Sang, 2020) is a Belgian-French action thriller directed by Julien Leclercq — watch online on iFILM. Saïd runs a sawmill deep in the woods and has already agreed to sell it. He just wants out. Then one of his workers hides a load of stolen cocaine on the premises, and the people who own that load come looking.
With his teenage daughter on site and no backup coming, Saïd has to hold the line alone. Sami Bouajila carries the film almost entirely on his own, with Samy Seghir and Sofia Lesaffre alongside him. At 80 minutes, the whole thing moves fast and wastes nothing.
Leclercq keeps the action tight and stripped-down — no comic relief, no subplots, just pressure building from the first reel to the last. It works because Bouajila is genuinely compelling even when he has nothing to say. Stream Earth and Blood (2020) on iFILM.
