Synopsis

The Rise (2012) is Rowan Athale's debut crime thriller, available to watch online on iFILM — a revenge story told from inside an interrogation room.

Fresh out of prison for a robbery he didn't commit, Harvey Miller comes out with payback on his mind. He pulls together three childhood friends to rob the local drug kingpin whose betrayal put him away in the first place. Harvey lays out his account to the dogged Detective Inspector West, and the tale splinters into flashbacks of friendship, love, wasted second chances and one carefully planned heist. Luke Treadaway leads, Timothy Spall plays the interrogator, and the crew includes Matthew Lewis, Iwan Rheon and Vanessa Kirby — early roles for several of them.
