Wolfen

Wolfen (1981) is an American horror thriller directed by Michael Wadleigh — watch online on iFILM. A veteran New York City homicide detective played by Albert Finney is handed three wildly unrelated victims: a wealthy real-estate mogul, his wife, and a derelict from the South Bronx slums. Each body looks torn apart by something animal.

The deeper Finney digs, alongside criminologist Diane Venora and a cryptic street mystic played by Edward James Olmos, the less the case fits any rational file. Wadleigh treats the city itself as a predator — long, gliding point-of-view shots through crumbling tenements that put you inside whatever is hunting.
