Synopsis
The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, Season 1 — watch online on iFILM: ten episodes of the 2021 family comedy. Twelve-year-old Evan is cut from the elite Ducks hockey programme. Too slow. Gone.
His mom Alex refuses to let it go. She and Evan pull together every kid who didn't make the cut and form a new team called the Don't Bothers — no pressure, no expectations, no wins to speak of. Gordon Bombay, played once again by Emilio Estevez, reluctantly steps in to coach. The season layers in complications fast: Evan's father shows up unannounced, Sofi is sneaking practice time with both teams, and the question of where Bombay's loyalty actually lies takes on weight of its own. By the time the State Tournament rolls around, the Don't Bothers face the Ducks on the ice and both sides have to decide what they are playing for.
