A chance accident changes that. The wrong person finds out, and Omar's low-key life stops being quiet. His neighbor Sharif sees an opportunity: use the power to raise money for the broken neighborhood generator, keep the block alive when outside help never comes. Omar gets pulled in, while also trying to figure out what to do about Anna — an art student whose connection to him deepens in ways neither of them planned. As the season builds, the question shifts from what Omar can do to why he can do it, and what really happened to his mother.
