Zero (Season 1)

Zero (2021) is an Italian fantasy series you can watch online on iFILM. A shy pizza courier nicknamed Zero rarely lifts his eyes as he works the outskirts of Milan — until he discovers a strange gift: when his nerves spike, he simply vanishes from sight.

That invisibility opens doors no ordinary kid could walk through. The local crew quickly works out how useful a boy who melts into thin air can be, and pulls him into a fight over the neighborhood. But Zero wants something else — to protect his Barona district and the people he loves, and to learn how to control the power in the first place. Along the way he crosses paths with a mysterious art student whose presence makes his gift behave in ways he can't predict.

It was Netflix's first Italian series with a mainly Black cast, adapted from Antonio Dikele Distefano's novel. The invisibility reads as a plain metaphor here: it's about kids from the margins whom society refuses to see.
