Ever After High (Seasons 1–4)

"Ever After High" (2013) is an animated series you can watch online on iFILM — a Canadian-American production for children and families, built on the Mattel toy line of the same name.

At Ever After High, the children of famous fairy tale characters study alongside each other — daughters of Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and the Evil Queen; sons of Robin Hood and Humpty Dumpty. School tradition holds that everyone must follow in their parent's footsteps and replay the same story. Not everyone agrees. Students split into Royals, who embrace their scripted destiny, and Rebels, who want to rewrite theirs. Apple White and Raven Queen sit at opposite ends of that divide, and their conflict drives the series.

The show ran from 2013 across multiple seasons. For a toy-driven animated series, it asks a surprisingly direct question: does where you come from determine who you have to become?
