Synopsis
Mea Culpa (2014) is a lean French action thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Fred Cavayé. Simon and Franck were partners on the Toulon police force — until Simon, drunk behind the wheel, caused a fatal crash.
Six years on, Simon has lost the badge and his family along with it. Then his young son Théo happens to witness a murder, and suddenly killers want the boy silenced. To keep him alive, the ex-cop has to reach back into old instincts and reunite with Franck, the partner he cut off years ago.
Cavayé keeps it tight: ninety minutes, barely a moment to breathe, with chases and brutal hand-to-hand fights staged on moving trains. Vincent Lindon and Gilles Lellouche carry it, with Nadine Labaki alongside.
