Synopsis
The Country Bears (2002) is a Disney family musical comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Beary Barrington is a young bear raised by a human family — until he finds out he's adopted, and very much a bear.
Hurt and confused, Beary runs off to Tennessee to find where he came from, and to track down his idols: the broken-up band The Country Bears. He arrives to bad news — a scheming developer named Reid Thimple wants to bulldoze the famous Country Bear Hall. To save it, Beary sets out to reunite the band for one big comeback concert.
Spun off from the old Disney theme-park attraction, the film runs on country-rock numbers and animatronic talking bears. The human cast pitches in too: Christopher Walken as the villain is a show in itself, with Haley Joel Osment and Brad Garrett among the bear voices. Harmless fun for a family movie night.
