Lymelife

Lymelife (2008) is a bittersweet coming-of-age dramedy you can watch online on iFILM. Long Island, the early eighties. Fifteen-year-old Scott nurses a quiet crush on the girl next door while the adults around him quietly come apart.

Director Derick Martini builds the story out of small humiliations: Scott's real-estate-agent father (Alec Baldwin) is sleeping around, his mother (Jill Hennessy) knows, his older brother ships off to the army, and a Lyme disease scare is gutting the household across the lawn. Rory and Kieran Culkin play the brothers, with Emma Roberts as Scott's first love and Timothy Hutton as her unraveling father.
