Synopsis

Marty has anxiety and no gift for saying no. His sister Phyllis sends him to Dr. Ike, a psychiatrist with a solid reputation. The sessions start reasonably. Then, over thirty years: Dr. Ike talks Marty into a second bar mitzvah, moves into the family orbit, installs himself in the Hamptons house, throws parties at Marty's expense, and quietly replaces every relationship Marty ever had. Phyllis notices early. Marty does not.
