Synopsis
Kung Fu League (2018) is a Chinese fantasy martial-arts comedy you can watch online on iFILM. A broke comic-book artist accidentally pulls four legendary masters out of history — Ip Man, Wong Fei-hung, Chen Zhen and Huo Yuanjia — and begs them to teach him to fight and win back the girl he loves.
Four warriors used to life-or-death duels suddenly land in a modern city full of subways, smartphones and office politics. They bicker over which of them is really the strongest before turning their attention to sorting out the hapless hero's love life. Director Jeff Lau lined up a genre dream team: Vincent Zhao, Andy On, Danny Chan and Dennis To, all faces fans know from straight biopics of these same icons.
