Synopsis
Want to watch Upright (2019) Season 1 online? iFILM has all eight episodes of this Australian dramedy about a washed-up musician hauling an old upright piano clear across the country to reach his dying mother.
The trip falls apart almost at once. At a desert petrol stop Lucky gets saddled with Meg, a runaway teenager with family wounds of her own, and the two of them end up lugging the instrument through the outback together. The cash vanishes. The fuel runs dry. A snakebite, of all things, finally knocks some sense into him. Each episode is one day on the road, and across eight days these accidental travelmates slowly become the family neither of them ever had.
Tim Minchin created the show and stars as Lucky, which explains the dry wit and the ache hiding underneath it. Stream Upright Season 1 online on iFILM.
