Synopsis
The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show (1983) is an animated series based on Charles M. Schulz's Peanuts comic strip, and you can watch online on iFILM. Built from short sketches, it brought the whole gang to CBS Saturday mornings in the early eighties.
Each episode strings together small misadventures from Charlie Brown's life. He still can't get the kite into the air, still trusts Lucy when she holds the football, still loses the baseball game by a mile. Snoopy daydreams his way through the role of flying ace and aspiring novelist, Linus clings to his blanket, and Woodstock chirps commentary nobody can translate. Veteran Peanuts animator Bill Meléndez directed and voiced Snoopy himself.
This is gentle, low-key cartoon comfort food, where the humor comes from real childhood feelings rather than slapstick. It works for grown-ups who read the strips and for parents looking for something easy to share with a kid. Stream The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show online on iFILM.
