Synopsis
R. L. Stine's The Haunting Hour (2010), Season 1 watch online on iFILM — a family horror anthology drawn from R. L. Stine's books, twenty-two half-hour episodes. There is no running plot. Each installment is its own standalone scare, and the people caught in it are ordinary kids.
The show takes everyday childhood fears and tilts them toward the creepy. A girl unwraps a life-size doll that looks exactly like her. A family moves into a house whose former owners never quite left. A video game starts gambling with two players' lives, and a boy adopts a pet that turns out to be dead. The closing two-parter summons Scary Mary out of a mirror, then deals with the fallout. Most stories wrap inside their episode, usually on a sting in the final minute.
