TV-PGSeason 15
Back in dramatic fashion.
Synopsis
Watch Project Runway (2004) Season 15 online on iFILM — fourteen episodes in which sixteen designers fight for the champion's title and $100,000 to launch a label.
The 2016 season keeps pulling its designers out of the workroom. A look that has to shift on the runway when the lights drop from daylight to blacklight. A swimsuit for Heidi Klum's beach line. A pitch to investors to fund a mini-collection. A trip to Universal Studios in Orlando for streetwear inspired by a King Kong ride. A helicopter loop over New York to shape an editorial shot for Marie Claire. An avant-garde challenge that stitches fabric to bare metal. For one brief, the contestants buy materials in Austin — at a farm supply store and a barbecue venue. The finalists then earn six weeks to build a ten-piece collection for Fashion Week.
The judging trio is unchanged: Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, Zac Posen, with Tim Gunn coaching. The fifteenth season leans on location — half its inspiration is gathered far from the studio. A solid pick if the repetitive soundstage briefs have worn thin. Stream Project Runway Season 15 online on iFILM.
