Synopsis
Sex, Shame and Tears 2 (Sexo, pudor y lágrimas 2, 2022) is a Mexican tragicomedy you can watch online on iFILM. Two decades have gone by since those two apartments in the heart of Mexico City became a battlefield in the war of the sexes between Ana, Carlos, Andrea, Miguel, Tomás and María. All that survives of that time are memories — and the image of Tomás' body at the bottom of an elevator shaft.
Life has scattered them since. Their families have grown, the kids are adults now, and a handful of unexpected new faces barge in to set off a fresh chain of events. Slowly everyone arrives at the same plain truth: shame has given way to public oversharing, sex is one app away, but love still slips through everybody's fingers. Director Alonso Iñiguez assembles a wide ensemble led by Cecilia Suárez and Susana Zabaleta for this follow-up to the cult 1999 hit that once broke box-office records at home.
