Control (2004) is a US-Canadian thriller you can watch online on iFILM, anchored by Ray Liotta and Willem Dafoe in a story where the line between rehabilitation and experiment disappears fast. Death row inmate Lee Ray Oliver gets the needle, the witnesses file out — and then he wakes up. The offer: submit to a classified chemical behaviour-modification programme, or the execution completes for real, no audience this time. Oliver takes the deal. Dafoe plays the doctor running the trial; Michelle Rodriguez is the security officer tasked with making sure the subject doesn't slip the leash. Stephen Rea and Polly Walker fill out a support cast, each with their own reasons to want the experiment to go a very specific way.
