Synopsis
Arsène Lupin (2004) is a French adventure crime film directed by Jean-Paul Salomé — watch it online on iFILM. Romain Duris plays the young Lupin: charming, sharp, officially employed as a customs officer and very much a thief by vocation. The story opens in the châteaux and foggy ports of 1890s Normandy.
His father taught him the craft from boyhood. Now grown, Lupin picks the locks of the Parisian elite, runs circles around the gendarmerie, and carries a secret about his own origins that could rewrite everything he thinks he knows. Kristin Scott Thomas and Eva Green pull at him from opposite directions — one holds information he needs, the other reads him far too easily.
