Max has been trying to dump his girlfriend Evelyn for months. She is controlling, relentless, and has taken over his apartment along with his every waking hour. Then a freak accident settles it for him — Evelyn is gone. Max breathes, meets the charming Olivia, and starts to think life might be good again. It isn't. Evelyn claws back out of the ground with the same demands, the same smile, and zero interest in being dead.
