Season 3
Synopsis
You can watch The Toys That Made Us (2017) Season 3 online on iFILM — a four-episode documentary about how a sketch or a mold became an entire industry. One brand per episode, plus the people who built it.
The season opens on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, where two unknown comic artists hit on an idea that sparked Turtlemania and left the toy aisle in shell shock. Then come the Power Rangers, morphed out of Japan's Super Sentai by composer Haim Saban. The third chapter belongs to My Little Pony — half-pint hoofers that redrew the modern doll and, oddly, grew a grown-up brony fanbase. Pro wrestling closes it out, from WrestleMania to the shelf brawl, with creators owning both their hits and their flops.
The lineup runs wider than before, from cartoon ponies to wrestling muscle, which makes the founders' stories the real draw. Stream The Toys That Made Us Season 3 online on iFILM.
