Synopsis

Seventh-century Arabia. The Persian emperor Kisra demands tribute and crushes every tribe that dares resist. Princess Hind refuses to submit. She trains as a fighter, finds an unlikely partner in Hanzala — an outlaw with no allegiances and nothing to lose — and begins the brutal work of uniting clans who have been raiding each other for generations. Their goal: the Battle of Dhi Qar, a confrontation that stopped the Persian advance and became one of the defining moments of pre-Islamic Arabia.
The film draws on a documented historical event — the Battle of Dhi Qar, fought around 604–611 AD, is recorded as the first time Arab tribal forces defeated the Sassanid Empire in open battle.
