Synopsis
The King's Avatar (全职高手, 2017) is a Chinese animated series based on Butterfly Blue's web novel — watch online on iFILM. Ye Xiu is the defining player of the MMORPG Glory, a tactical mind that spent a decade at the top. His team cuts him.
He takes a night-shift job at an internet cafe. When Glory launches a new server, he logs in with a hand-built, unfinished weapon and no official rank — nobody on the server knows who he is. Directors Zhang Yingying and Xiong Ke keep the pacing deliberate; this is a story about mastery reasserting itself quietly, not a power-fantasy set-piece.
