Watch Marvel's Hit-Monkey (2021) online on iFILM — an animated action series from Hulu that ran for two seasons and twenty episodes before cancellation. The premise sounds absurd by design: a Japanese snow monkey witnesses a hitman's training sessions, memorises every technique, then sets out to avenge the slaughter of his troop by the yakuza.

Jason Sudeikis voices the dead assassin whose ghost tags along for the ride, equal parts reluctant mentor and running commentary. George Takei plays the mob boss pulling strings in the background, with Olivia Munn and Leslie Jones rounding out a cast that commits fully to the chaos. The show never softens the violence to match the cartoon format — it leans into the contrast between the monkey's innocence and the body count he racks up, which is exactly where most of its dark humour lives.
