RWBY (2013) is an American animated fantasy series from Rooster Teeth that you can watch online on iFILM. Creator Monty Oum built the world of Remnant from scratch — a civilization under constant threat from dark creatures called Grimm, kept alive by Huntsmen and Huntresses trained at combat academies.

The team at the centre is four students at Beacon Academy: Ruby Rose, whose weapon is a sniper rifle that folds into a scythe; Weiss Schnee, ice-ability heiress with a complicated family legacy; Blake Belladonna, who is running from something she has not explained yet; and Yang Xiao Long, who hits first and asks questions later. The show starts with academy life and escalates steadily — after Beacon falls, the team scatters and the series shifts into something considerably darker.
