Nastya's two dogs, Pirat and Yoko, are dropped off at a pet hotel while she heads to St. Petersburg with her grandmother. Feeling abandoned, they break out and reclaim the apartment — full run of the fridge, the sofa, every room, no rules. Then a pair of hapless burglars arrive expecting an empty flat. It isn't. Andrei Merzlikin and Yan Tsapnik play the intruders, and watching two sharp Russian comic actors get outwitted by dogs sustains the joke well past the point you'd expect.
