Synopsis
Jeepers Creepers: Reborn (2022) is a horror film from director Timo Vuorensola you can watch online on iFILM. Laine and her horror-obsessed boyfriend head to a genre festival built around a local legend: the Creeper, a winged predator that wakes every 23 years, feeds on human body parts, then vanishes again.
The carnival of fake gore and monster cosplay is fun at first, but Laine keeps slipping into visions that place her at the heart of an ancient ritual. Slowly it sinks in that a real cult worships the Creeper, and she was chosen as its offering for a reason. Sydney Craven plays a heroine who refuses to stay prey. Genre fans will spot Dee Wallace, the mom from E.T., in a small role.
This entry reboots the franchise that began with Victor Salva's 2001 original, pushing the story toward cult mysticism and prophecy instead of the old highway chase. There's more splatter and festival atmosphere here than slow-burn dread, so it lands better with slasher fans than with patient-horror crowds.
