Synopsis

The season tracks one long story — the reunification of a warring country — through three men. Then Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the first man in almost a century to control the whole nation, who gambled it all on a reckless invasion of the mainland. And finally Tokugawa Ieyasu, the patient veteran waiting in the shadows. Real battles, real betrayals, and one decisive campaign that set the next two hundred years.
