The Ledge

Detective Hollis (Howard) arrives on a hotel rooftop to talk a man down from the ledge. The clock is running. As he pieces together what brought Gavin (Hunnam) to that edge, the film rewinds through a collision of people and beliefs: Gavin, an atheist with no patience for pretense; Shana (Tyler), his neighbor and object of his feelings; and Joe (Wilson), her husband — a fundamentalist whose faith becomes something threatening.
