Synopsis
The Spectacular Spider-Man (2008), Season 1 — 13-episode animated series — watch online on iFILM. Peter Parker starts his junior year of high school with fresh superpowers and no idea what's coming.
Season 1 runs two distinct story arcs inside a villain-of-the-week structure. The first half introduces a rotating gallery — Vulture, Electro, Lizard, Shocker, Sandman, Rhino — each backed by a shadowy sponsor whose identity runs as a quiet thread underneath the standalone episodes. The Green Goblin arrives mid-season and by episode nine drops a reveal that reshapes Peter's entire social world. Then the symbiote arc takes over: the black alien suit amplifies Peter's abilities and quietly rewires his personality, and the following three episodes are about how hard it is to let go of something that actually works. Venom closes the season on a note that's personal rather than just spectacular.
