Synopsis
The First 48 (2004), Season 23 is true-crime documentary you can watch online on iFILM — ten episodes that follow real homicide cases through the hours that matter most.
The detectives work Tulsa, Mobile, Gwinnett County and New Orleans this run. A welfare check turns up a woman beaten to death. A man is lured into a trap. A young soccer player is shot and dumped on a suburban street, and a corporal retraces his last steps to find who did it. Security footage catches a gunman at a gas station, a Facebook clip cracks a suspect's alibi, and a Tulsa gang's reach turns out to stretch past the prison walls. The clock never stops; neither do the interrogations.
A&E keeps the same plain, unscored approach all season — actual scenes, autopsies, forensic work, no reenactment. Season 23 is for viewers who want the procedure, not the theatrics. Stream The First 48 Season 23 online on iFILM.
