Synopsis
Real Girl (2018), Season 1 is a romance anime you can watch online on iFILM — twelve episodes about a boy who traded real people for a screen, and the girl who drags him back out.
Tsutsui is an otaku who finds anime easier than classmates. Detention for being late strands him at the pool with Iroha: blunt, confident, nothing like the girls he avoids. She makes the first move, and from there the season watches a clumsy kid learn what no video game ever taught him. There's jealousy, a confession from someone else, a fight with his only friend Ito, and a cabin trip where everything goes sideways. Late in the run Iroha's brother comes home, and Tsutsui has to show what his feelings are actually worth.
