Synopsis

Season four is about what it looks like when a survivor stops defining herself by what happened. Kimmy pushes back against sexism at a tech conference, writes a children's book that a blogger immediately claims as her own, and ends up unexpectedly rich when Giztoob sells. One episode reshuffles the entire show's premise — a "sliding doors" hour imagining what life would have been if Kimmy never got in the Reverend's van. Titus gets his closest shot yet at a real career: Jacqueline's fledgling talent agency arranges a fake celebrity romance and a genuine audition, and by the final episode he has to choose between the dream and Mikey. Lillian wages her last battle against gentrification.
