Synopsis
The Diplomat (2023) is a Netflix political drama — watch it online on iFILM. Keri Russell plays Kate Wyler, a seasoned US negotiator who spent her career in warzones and suddenly finds herself appointed ambassador to the UK in the middle of a full-blown international crisis.
Kate has no patience for cocktail parties or royal protocols. Her husband Hal, played by Rufus Sewell, is a former politician with his own profile and his own agenda — and he keeps making her job harder just by being in the same room. David Gyasi and Rory Kinnear round out a cast that keeps the pressure building across three seasons and 22 episodes. The series is still running.
