Synopsis

Calista Flockhart's Ally lands a job at the eccentric firm Cage & Fish — only to find that her college boyfriend Billy is already there, married to someone else and sitting at the next desk. The firm itself is its own problem: John Cage (Peter MacNicol) has courtroom habits no law school teaches, Nelle (Jane Krakowski) has opinions about everything, and the unisex bathroom somehow solves more cases than the conference room. Lucy Liu, Robert Downey Jr., and James Marsden all turned up across the run.
