Synopsis
Formula 1: Drive to Survive, Season 5 is a 10-episode Netflix documentary — watch online on iFILM. For 2022 every team built from scratch under a new technical formula, and the pecking order reshuffled overnight.
Ferrari came charging back into title contention, Leclerc fast from round one, while Mercedes fought a car that bounced and bucked down every straight. Haas racked up costs as Mick Schumacher tried to prove he belonged; Ricciardo's McLaren seat grew shakier with each missed podium. Alpine descended into driver musical chairs, and Red Bull — on course for a dominant title — found themselves facing accusations of blowing through the sport's spending cap.
What this season captures best is how a rule reset hands everyone fresh ambitions and fresh chaos in roughly equal measure. Stream all episodes of Formula 1: Drive to Survive Season 5 on iFILM.
