Synopsis

Then Bushmaster arrives. John McIver comes out of Jamaica with strength that matches Luke's, a botanical edge no lab experiment gave him, and a generations-old score to settle with the Stokes family. His war with Mariah Dillard spreads across the whole neighborhood, and Luke gets stuck in the middle — stop Bushmaster, hold Mariah accountable, manage his own rising anger before it changes who he is. Shades starts pulling away from Mariah. Misty questions her methods at the precinct. Flashbacks unpack exactly how the McIver-Stokes feud started and why it never cooled.
