Milius

Milius (2013) is a documentary you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Zak Knutson and Joey Figueroa. It profiles John Milius — the writer behind Apocalypse Now and Dirty Harry, the director of Conan the Barbarian and Red Dawn, and (according to Spielberg) the real-life model for Jaws' Quint.

The film gathers a remarkable roster of voices: Spielberg, Coppola, Lucas, Scorsese, Eastwood, Harrison Ford, James Earl Jones, John Goodman. They describe a filmmaker known as the "Zen Anarchist" — a card-carrying NRA member who somehow made some of the most radical genre films of his era.
