Synopsis
Medcezir (2013) is a Turkish family drama with sharp social edges you can watch online on iFILM. Yaman grew up in Tozludere, one of Istanbul's tougher neighbourhoods — his father gone early, his role model not someone anyone would recommend. One night, his brother steals a car and drags Yaman into it. That's where his clean record ends.
Lawyer Selim Serez pulls him out and makes an unusual offer: come into his world, mix with his family, start over. What follows isn't a smooth rise. Director Ali Bilgin keeps the class gap between Yaman and his new surroundings tangible rather than decorative — the wealth is real, and so is the friction. Çağatay Ulusoy plays the lead with a wariness that makes sense for someone who has never had a reason to trust an easy hand. Serenay Sarıkaya and Meriç Aral give the supporting cast their own weight.
