Synopsis
Scream of the Banshee (2011) is a creature-feature horror you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Steven C. Miller for the After Dark TV slot. In a university basement, a sealed twelfth-century box gets pried open — and lets out something that has been quiet for a thousand years.
Lauren Holly plays the archeology professor who opens an unmarked delivery: an old iron gauntlet and a locked chest that the gauntlet happens to fit. Inside sits a withered, fanged head. From there the campus fills with a shriek that bursts blood vessels and shreds nerves. Lance Henriksen turns up as a collector who knows far more about the thing than he admits.
This is straight-up TV-movie horror from After Dark — small money, big monster, and a heavy lean on practical gore over polish.
