Synopsis

Impulsive Cuphead and his cautious, easily-talked-into brother Mugman stumble from one scrape to the next across Inkwell Isle. The setup is simple: Cuphead once gambled away his soul to the Devil, who now waits, patiently, to collect. The season runs as standalone misadventures — a carnival that's really a front for harvesting souls, a baby left on the doorstep, a night locked in with ghosts, a battle to defend Elder Kettle's vegetable garden. Late in the run Mugman knits a special sweater to hide his brother's soul, and the Devil starts shadowing the boys, hunting for one careless slip.
