No Tears for the Dead (우는 남자, 2014) is a South Korean action thriller directed by Lee Jeong-beom — watch online on iFILM. Jang Dong-gun plays Gon, a hitman who has spent his adult life erasing people on command. One job goes wrong. A stray bullet kills a little girl. Gon has no way to undo it.
His employers do not wait for him to process the guilt. The next contract arrives: kill the girl's mother and close the loose end. Mo-Gyeong, played by Kim Min-hee, is a fund manager burying herself in work while grieving her daughter. She does not know that someone has been paid to get close to her. Gon shows up — and then decides not to finish the job.
What follows is compact and relentless. Lee Jeong-beom keeps the violence functional rather than decorative, which makes it hit harder.
