Synopsis
Fatma (2021), Season 1 is a Turkish crime drama in six episodes that you can watch online on iFILM. It follows a quiet Istanbul cleaner whom almost no one really sees, as she hunts for her suddenly vanished husband, Zafer.
The search drags her somewhere there is no coming back from. The first killing happens almost by accident — then Fatma grasps that being invisible makes her untouchable, because nobody suspects a woman like her. Across six chapters she moves through old wounds tied to the death of her son Oğuz, through Bayram's dirty errands, and past police who keep edging closer. Each step uncovers another truth about what Zafer did, and each truth pushes her further over the line.
Burcu Biricik holds the whole season together; her Fatma is frightening and sympathetic in the same shot. It's a short, dense story about grief curdling into vengeance, free of the melodrama Turkish series often lean on. Watch Fatma Season 1 online on iFILM — all episodes, easy to finish in one evening.
