Synopsis
The Life and Movies of Erşan Kuneri (Erşan Kuneri, 2022), Season 1 — watch the raunchy Turkish comedy online on iFILM, eight episodes in which a faded erotic-film icon tries to go legit.
Each episode is its own deranged shoot. Erşan tackles a medieval action picture starring Dry Murad, then a village drama, then an anti-drug message movie, then a spandex superhero saga built on early "Blue Box" effects. Budgets vanish. The cast brawls over an arcade machine and lands in the papers. A box-office flop finally drives him toward a tear-jerking melodrama. Underneath the gags, it's a roast of Turkey's film business written from the inside.
